WHAT LEAD ME TO THIS PHONE CASE DESIGN?
Disassembling an iPhone revealed sustainability issues such as uncommon screws and glued parts, reducing repairability.
Planned obsolescence worsens this, further increasing e-waste. Apple designs phones this way to encourage frequent upgrades.
To counter this, I designed an emotionally durable phone case promoting repair
over replacement.
